In times such as these, the importance of mental well being and mental health cannot be overstated. As a social movement dedicated to promoting mental health, Active Minds is committed to helping each other through this challenging time. Below you will find the Active Minds response to COVID-19: All services and programs are free of charge to everyone, and everyone is welcome to access our services. You do not need to be affiliated with the University of Alberta to seek our support services.

Together, let's work together to support each other during these challenging times.

INTERACTIVE RESOURCE PORTAL

Active Minds Interactive Resource Portal is a platform specifically created to provide centralized, key information of some common mental health conditions. Through a common streamlined platform, learn about mental health signs and symptoms you or your loved one is experiencing and find help with access to appropriate resources through a single platform. MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTER PROGRAM

One-on-one support sessions with a trained mental health supporter. Free of charge. Available to everyone. Active Minds Mental Health Supporters are trained in supportive listening, crisis intervention, and resource connection. As part of our COVID response, Active Minds has expedited our intake process for the supporter program. If you are interested in seeking support and accessing our program, simply click the button below, and sign up for a "60-minute Initial Consultation" session. There are no other requirements. With these changes, we hope we can provide swift and easy access to those seeking mental health supports during this time.
